    Abstract

    This research aims to reduced misconception on straight movement concept on high school student 2 Boyolali, X-MIA 4 class through an inquiry learning model application of guiding. This research was a classroom action research. This research executed in three cycles, each cycle begins with the preparation and execution cycle that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subject was X-MIA 4 students of SMA N 2 Boyolali at Academic Year 2014/2015 that consists of 33 students. The data was collected through document review, test, observation, quesioner and interview to the teacher and students. The techniques of data analysis used quantitative and qualitative analysis data techniques. Based on the study and data analysis of this research, it could be concluded that applying an inquiry learning model application of guiding can reduce misconception on high school student 2 Boyolali, X-MIA 4 class. It can be seen from the percentage of achievement pretest and postest result: first cycle, reducing misconception 17,74%; second cycle, reducing misconception 21,43%; and third cycle, reducing misconception 62,50%.
