    Abstract

    The purposes of this study were to determine: 1) differences in student achievement using Teams Games Tournament learning methods with Destination card media and mysterious card box (kokami) in the main subject of colloidal systems. 2) The difference in the students with high and low memory capability on student achievement in the main subject of colloidal systems. 3) The interaction between Teams Games Tournament learning method using the Destination card media and mysterious card box (kokami) with students memory capabilities on student achievement in the main subject of colloidal systems. This study used a quasi-experimental methods (quasi-experimental) with a research design 2 × 2 factorial design. The population of this research was the 2nd semester of the students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar 2013/2014. Samples were obtained by cluster random sampling technique which consists of two classes of grade XI IPA 3 as the experimental class I (TGT destination card media) and XI IPA 2 as an experimental class II (TGT kokami media). Data collection techniques using the test method for cognitive learning achievement, memory skills and questionnaire method for affective learning achievement. Data analysis techniques in the form of prerequisite test and hypothesis testing was done with the help of Microsoft Excel. Prerequisite test consists of normality test, homogeneity test and balance test (t-matching). The hypothesis test were using two ways variance test with different cells. The conclusion of this study were : 1) There is a difference learning with Teams Games Tournament method using a Destination card media and mysterious card box (kokami) on student achievement in the main subject of Colloids and the result was study with destination card was better than study with kokami, 2) There is a difference in students with high and low memory capability to the student achievement students in the main subject of Colloids, 3) there is no interaction between Teams Games Tournament method using the Destination card media and mysterious card box (kokami) with memory capabilities of students on student achievement in the main subject of Colloids.
