    Abstract

    Objective: To determine the claim filing procedures motorcycle on PT. Astra Honda Motor. Methods: a descriptive study with qualitative data in the form. Results and discussion: Based on the evaluation conducted by the author of the claim filing procedures motorcycle on PT. Astra Honda Motor, the authors find that there are some elements in the claim filing procedure forms, reports claim filing recap and some documents related to the claim filing procedures. This procedure is in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) set by PT. Astra Honda Motor. Conclusions and suggestions: Based on the evaluation and discussion of the procedures for filing a claim on the motorcycle PT. Astra Honda Motor in the previous chapter there is a conclusion that the claim filing procedure used is quite good and in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). It can be seen from the separation of functions, serial numbered print documents, as well as the authorization is performed by authorized parties. However, there are some weaknesses in carrying out such procedures, including: Data submission AHM claim to still use the data file manually, the process of delivery and document claim part of the AHM main dealer to require longer periods of time which ranges from 1-2.5 months , and the delivery process and document claim part of the AHM main dealer to require Substantial additional costs. Keywords: Claim Filing Procedures, PT. Astra Honda Motor Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui prosedur pengajuan claim sepeda motor pada PT. Astra Honda Motor. Metode: Jenis penelitian berupa deskriptif dengan data berbentuk kualitatif. Hasil dan pembahasan: Berdasarkan evaluasi yang penulis lakukan terhadap prosedur pengajuan claim sepeda motor pada PT. Astra Honda Motor, penulis menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa unsur dalam prosedur pengajuan claim yaitu form, laporan rekap pengajuan claim dan beberapa dokumen yang terkait pada prosedur pengajuan claim tersebut. Prosedur ini sudah sesuai dengan Standart Operasional Procedure (SOP) yang ditetapkan oleh PT. Astra Honda Motor. Kesimpulan dan saran: Berdasarkan evaluasi dan pembahasan mengenai prosedur pengajuan claim sepeda motor pada PT. Astra Honda Motor dalam bab sebelumnya terdapat kesimpulan bahwa prosedur pengajuan claim yang digunakan sudah cukup baik dan sesuai dengan Standart Operational Procedure (SOP). Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari adanya pemisahan fungsi, dokumen yang bernomer urut cetak, serta adanya otorisasi yang dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak yang berwenang. Namun, terdapat beberapa kelemahan dalam menjalankan prosedur tersebut, diantaranya: Data pengajuan claim kepada pihak AHM masih menggunakan data berkas secara manual, proses pengiriman part dan dokumen claim dari main dealer ke pihak AHM memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama yaitu berkisar 1-2,5 bulan, dan proses pengiriman part dan dokumen claim dari main dealer ke pihak AHM memerlukan biaya tambahan yang cukup besar.
