    Abstract

    This study aims to know the implementation of credit in Tabungan Negara Bank branch Surakarta, and knowing what constraints are involved in the process of fulfilling credit and how to best settlement . This is descriptive empirical law research. Types of data used include the primary data and secondary data, which include the main legal materials and secondary legal materials. Data collection techniques used in the research was by using documents or literature and interview material. Data analysis techniques were by using qualitative analysis. From the results of research and discussion, it can be suggested that the factors causing the bad credit is: factors of willingness, ability, and circumstances beyond it. In the implementation of the credit , Tabungan Negara Bank branch Surakarta using alternative procedures are: billing, restructuring, and settlement of credit in an effort to rescue the credit. The things that happen in the rescue efforts more credit to bad debtors less open attitude in providing information to Tabungan Negara Bank Branch Surakarta that restructuring efforts may not achieve the plan. Expected with the transparency the bad debtor to the Tabungan Negara Bank Branch Surakarta can be efforts to rescue loans without using a settlement procedures of credit.
