    Abstract

    Purwoceng merupakan salah satu tanaman obat asli Indonesia. Purwoceng banyak dibutuhkan oleh industri obat karena dapat digunakan sebagai obat kuat pria serta memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Kendala budidaya purwoceng antara lain terbatasnya area produksi akibat kesesuaian lahan dan tergesernya lahan potensial serta cara budidaya. Oleh karena itu, perlu perluasan lahan dengan ekstensifikasi dan perbaikan budidaya melalui pemanfaatan pupuk organik dan cendawan mikoriza arbuskula agar dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil purwoceng. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Gondosuli, Kecamatan Tawangmangu, Kabupaten Karanganyar dan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta pada bulan Desember 2012 sampai Mei 2013. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap, terdiri atas dua faktor perlakuan yaitu macam pupuk organik (Tanah, Kompos, Pupuk kandang Ayam, Pupuk kandang Kambing, Pupuk kandang Sapi) dan dosis CAM (CAM 0 g, 10 g, 20 g, 30 g, 40 g) dan tiga kali ulangan. Analisis data menggunakan uji F taraf 5%, apabila terdapat beda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian macam pupuk organik tidak dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil purwoceng. CAM 40 g dapat meningkatkan jumlah tangkai, panjang akar dan infeksi akar purwoceng. Tidak terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan macam pupuk organik dan dosis CAM untuk semua variabel. Purwoceng is one of the medicinal plants native to Indonesia. Purwoceng much needed by the drug industry because it can be used as a powerful medicine man and have high economic value. Expansion of cultivation constraints purwoceng among others, the limited area of production due to land suitability and displacement potential land and cultivation method. Therefore it is necessary land expansion with extension and repair cultivation through the use of organic fertilizers and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in order to improve the growth and yield purwoceng. Research was held in the village of Gondosuli, District Tawangmangu, Karanganyar and laboratory in tissue culture of Agriculture Faculty, Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta at December 2012 up to May 2013. It was conducted in a completely randomized design, consisting of two factors, namely kinds of organic fertilizer treatments (Soil, Compost, Chicken Manure, Goat Manure, Cow Manure) and the second factor is CAM dose (CAM 0 g, CAM 10 g, CAM 20 g, CAM 30 g, CAM 40 g) and three replications each. Data were analyzed by F test (5%) if there is a significant difference followed by DMRT 5% level. Results showed that provision of a variety Organic fertilizers can not improve the growth and yield purwoceng. CAM 40 g can improve numbers of stems, root length and root infection purwoceng. No interaction between kinds of organic fertilizers and doses of CAM for all variables.
