    Abstract

    The purposes of these research were to know the difference between student achievement who learnt chemistry learning achievement TGT method using snake and ladder and puzzle media, between student who had visual and kinestetic learning style, between student who had high and low creativity and interaction between TGT method and learning style, TGT method and creativity, learning style and creativity, and among TGT method, learning style and creativity. The research used quasi experimental method. The population was all of the students in grade VIII, SMPN 7 Purworejo Academic Year 2011/2012. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling consisted of four classes, they are VIII A, VIII C, VIII D, VIII E. The class VIII A and VIII E learnt using TGT method with snake and ladder, the class VIII C and VIII D learnt using TGT method with puzzle. The data was collected using test for cognitive achievement and creativity, questionnaire for student effective achievement and and kinestetic learning style. The data was analyzed using non parametric with Kruskal Wallis Test. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that: 1) there was no difference in student achievement between student who learnt TGT methodwith snake and ladder and puzzle, 2) there was no difference in students’ achievement between student who had visual and kinestetic learning style, 3) there was difference in student’s achievement between student who had high and low creativity, 4) there was no interaction between TGT method using snake and ladder and puzzle media and visual and kinestetic learning style toward student’s achievement, 5) there was an interaction between TGT method using snake and ladder and puzzle media and creativity toward student’s achievement, 6) there was an interaction between visual and kinestetic learning style and creativity toward student’s achievement, 7) there was an interaction among TGT method using snake and ladder and puzzle, learning style and creativity toward students’ achievement.
