    Abstract

    Hafid Kurniyawan. IMPROVING LEARNING Skip FROGS (KIDS ATHLETIC) APPLICATION THROUGH LEARNING TOOL FOR STUDENTS IN CLASS IV WONOWOSO SURAKARTA SD STATE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011/2012. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University Eleven March Surakarta. September 2012. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of the frog jump in fourth grade elementary school students Wonowoso academic year 2011/2012 through the implementation of a learning tool (cardboard, tires, rubber bands). This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were fourth grade students Wonowoso academic year 2011/2012 amounted to 32 people, consisting of 21 boys and 11 girls students. The data collection technique is through the test and measurement capabilities of the basic movement jump frog and observations of the process of teaching and learning. Analysis of data using descriptive technique based on qualitative analysis. The results showed that through the implementation of a learning tool to improve student learning outcomes frogs jump from baseline to cycle 1, from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Shows the results of the original study 46.88% (15 students who pass), in cycle 1 shows the results of study 75% (24 students total), which means an increase of the existing initial condition but has not reached the expected percentage of the target, while in the cycle 2 study results showed an increase in 90.63% (29 students who pass) which means it is expected to achieve the target percentage. The learning process in the initial conditions that are tedious or conventional basic motor skills and mastery of learning outcomes frog jump low. The increase occurred in cycle 1. Basic motor skills and increased student mastery of learning outcomes, although not optimal. Implementation of cycle 2 has basic motor skills and increased student mastery of learning outcomes to be higher so that it can support a quality learning. The conclusions of this research is the application of learning aids (cardboard, old tires, and rubber bands) can improve learning outcomes in learning frog jump penjas Elementary School fourth grade students Wonowoso academic year 2011/2012.
