    Abstract

    Komitmen organisasi yang dimiliki karyawan merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk dipertahankan dan diperkuat karena menentukan suatu organisasi berhasil atau tidak dalam mencapai tujuannya. Karyawan yang berkomitmen terhadap organisasi akan percaya dan menerima dengan kuat atas tujuan dan nilai-nilai organisasi, bersedia mengusahakan tercapainya kepentingan organisasi, serta ingin secara kuat bertahan terhadap organisasi atau perusahaan. Transformational leadership style is an ability of leaders in persuading their employees by changing awareness that organizational business should be number one, inspiring, able to raise up trust, and contributing great motivation to do more than what is expected. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional diidentifikasikan sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif-korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan The Sunan Hotel Solo. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan The Sunan Hotel Solo sejumlah 155 karyawan. Sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 karyawan The Sunan Hotel Solo. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Skala komitmen organisasi dan Skala gaya kepemimpinan transformasional. Skala komitmen organisasi terdiri dari 24 aitem dengan ri(x-1) 0,262-0,812 dan reliabilitas (α) = 0,924. Skala gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terdiri dari 48 aitem dengan ri(x-1) 0,241-0,834 dan reliabilitas (α) = 0,928. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson, diperoleh koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,674 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), artinya hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan The Sunan Hotel Solo adalah signifikan. Kesimpulannya, yaitu semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi pada karyawan The Sunan Hotel Solo. Selain itu, diketahui nilai R2 (R Square) sebesar 0,454 yang berarti total sumbangan yang diberikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen organisasi adalah sebesar 45,4%. Employees who are committed to organization would believe and firmly accept organizational goals and values, intend to work for achieving organizational business, and survive in organization or company. Transformational leadership style is an ability of leaders in persuading their employees to achieve organizational goals by changing awareness that organizational business should be number one, uplifting, inspiring, able to raise up trust, and contributing great motivation to do more than what is expected. Transformational leadership style is identified as one of the factors that influence organizational commitment. This research is correlational quantitative research with the purpose of finding out the correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational commitment in the employees of The Sunan Hotel Solo. The population of this research were 155 employess of The Sunan Hotel Solo while the sample research were 100 employees with purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this research were scale of organizational commitment and scale of transformational leadership style. Scale of organizational commitment consists of 24 items ri(x-1) 0,262-0,812 and reliability (α) = 0,924. Transformational leadership style consists of 48 items with ri(x-1) 0,241-0,834 and reliability (α) = 0,928. Data analysis applied in this reseacrh was product moment correlation technique of Pearson. The value of correlation coefficient (r) = 0.674 with a significance value = 0.000 (p<0,05), it indicates significant correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational commitment on the employees of The Sunan Hotel Solo. The conclusion is the higher the transformational leadership style, the higher the organizational commitment. Furthermore, the value of R2 (R Square) is 0,454 which means the total contribution of transformational leadership style to the organizational commitment is 45,4%.
