    Abstract

    The purpose of this research was to develop a scientific attitude assessment model for students of education program elementary school teachers in the learning science. This research includes in the research and development study that consists of three steps, they were the preliminary study, planning and development and also learning model validation. At preliminary stage, the research was held by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation of the implementation of learning science at education program elementary school teachers. The model development of scientific attitude assessment instruments for education program elementary school teachers was conducted by the following steps: formulate scientific attitudes which were derived from expert science opinion and refer to the 18 characters which were recommended by Kemendiknas. Review of the draft instrument by researchers and with the experts in their field, who are science lectures. Draft results of the instrument from the test experts was conducted a trial test on a scientific attitude assessment at PGSD Surakarta and Kebumen. The trial results are processed by using Item and Test Analysis Program – ITEMAN (tm) Version – 3.00. The results of is found that there are 6 (six) distractors which are not fulfilled with the requirements. Furthermore, distractors which are not fulfilled with the requirements will be revised through a discussion between the researcher and the test team.
