    Abstract

Ditemukan 83 klausa kompleks hipotaktik. 60 klausa diterjemahkan tetap sedangkan 23 klausa bergeser. Klausa kompleks parataktik hipotaktik berjumlah 64 klausa. 24 klausa diterjemahkan tetap, 40 klausa bergeser. (2) teknik yang digunakan dalam menerjemahkan klausa kompleks pada penelitian ini adalah gabungan 1 teknik, 2 teknik, 3 teknik, 4 teknik, dan 5 teknik. Klausa kompleks parataktik menerapkan 1–4 teknik, klausa kompleks hipotaktik 1–2 teknik sedangkan klausa kompleks parataktik hipotaktik menerapkan 1–5 teknik. (3) dalam hal kualitas, 290 klausa kompleks akurat, 21 klausa kurang akurat, 279 klausa berterima, 32 klausa kurang berterima, 301 klausa memiliki keterbacaan tinggi dan 10 klausa memiliki keterbacaan sedang. (4) Teknik penerjemahan berpengaruh pada bentuk klausa. 1 teknik menyebabkan 146 klausa kompleks diterjemahkan tetap dan 24 klausa bergeser. Penerapan 2 teknik menyebabkan 62 klausa diterjemahkan tetap dan 51 klausa bergeser. Penerapan 3 teknik menyebabkan 9 klausa diterjemahkan tetap dan 12 klausa bergeser. Penerapan 4 teknik menyebabkan 3 klausa tetap dan 3 klausa bergeser. Sedangkan penerapan 5 teknik menyebabkan pergeseran klausa. Dalam hal kualitas, penerapan 1 teknik menyebabkan 156 klausa akurat, 13 klausa kurang akurat, 158 klausa berterima, 11 klausa kurang berterima, 167 klausa keterbacaan tinggi dan 2 klausa keterbacaan sedang. Penerapan 2 teknik menyebabkan 107 klausa akurat, 7 klausa kurang akurat, 104 klausa berterima, 10 klausa kurang berterima, 109 klausa memiliki keterbacaan tinggi, 5 klausa memiliki keterbacaan sedang. Penerapan 3 teknik menyebabkan 20 klausa akurat, 1 klausa kurang akurat, 16 klausa berterima, 5 klausa kurang berterima dan 21 klausa keterbacaan tinggi. Penerapan 4 teknik menyebabkan 6 klausa akurat dan keterbacaan tinggi, 5 klausa berterima dan 1 klausa kurang berterima. Penerapan 5 teknik menyebabkan klausa akurat dan keterbacaannya tinggi namun kurang berterima. Kata kunci: klausa kompleks (parataktik, hipotaktik, parataktik hipotaktik), teknik penerjemahan, pergeseran bentuk, kualitas terjemahan The purposes of this research were: (1) to describe the type of clause complexes, (2) to describe the translation techniques, (3) to describe the translation qualities of clause complex, (4) to explain the effect of translation techniques to the type of clause complex and the translation qualities. This descriptive-qualitative research applied purposive sampling. There were 311 data of clause complexes. The data collection techniques that were used: (1) observation to get clause complex data (paratactic, hypotactic, mixed taxis); and (2) questionnaire to get the accuracy, acceptability, and readability data. The results of the study show that: (1) there are 164 paratactic clauses, 140 data unchanged and 24 data shifting. There are 83 hypotactic clauses, 60 data unchanged whereas 23 data shifting. There are 64 mixed taxis, 24 data unchanged whereas 40 data shifting. (2) the techniques that are used in translating the clause complexes in this research are the composite of 1 technique, 2 techniques, 3 techniques, 4 techniques, and 5 techniques. Paratactic clauses apply 1-4 technique, hypotactic clauses apply 1-2 techniques, and mixed taxis apply 1-5 techniques. (3) about the quality, 290 clause complexes accurate, 21 clauses less accurate, 279 clauses acceptable, 32 clauses less acceptable, 301 clauses have a high readability and 10 clauses have a medium readability. (4) the translation techniques have an impact on the type of clause complexes. 1 technique causes 146 clause complexes unchanged and 24 clause complexes shifting. 2 techniques cause 62 clause complexes unchanged and 51 clause complexes shifting. 3 techniques cause 9 clause complexes unchanged and 12 clause complexes shifting. 4 techniques cause 3 clause complexes unchanged and 3 clause complexes shifting. Meanwhile 5 techniques cause clause shifting. In case of quality, the application of 1 technique causes 156 clause complexes accurate, 13 clauses less accurate, 158 clause complexes acceptable, 11 clauses less acceptable, 167 clauses have a high readability, and 2 clauses have a medium readability. 2 techniques cause 107 clauses accurate, 7 clauses less accurate, 104 clause complexes acceptable, 10 clauses less acceptable, 109 clause complexes have a high readability and 5 clauses have a medium readability. 3 techniques cause 20 clause complexes accurate, 1 clause less accurate, 16 clauses acceptable, 5 clauses less acceptable and 21 clauses have a high readability. The application of 4 techniques cause 6 clause complexes accurate and have a high readability, 5 clauses acceptable and 1 clause less acceptable. The application of 5 techniques cause the clause complex is translated accurately and has a high readability but less acceptability. Keywords: Clause complex (Paratactic, Hypotactic, Mixed Taxis), Translation Techniques, Shifting, Translation Quality
