    Abstract

The research was aimed to evaluate the effect of concentration variation of 2,4-D and NAA (a-naphthalene acetic acid) on the Protocrom Like Bodies (PLB) growth of Grammatophyllum scriptum. The experimental design in this research was completely randomized design with two factors, namely concentration of 2,4-D (0.5 mg/L and 1.0 mg/L) and concentration of NAA ( 0.5 mg/L and 1.0 mg/L) with four replications. The quality of PLB was measured base on shoot and root length. The results showed that treatment had no effect on PLB growth of G. scriptum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh variasi konsentrasi 2,4-D dan NAA (asam a-naftalena asetat) pada pertumbuhan Protocrom Like Bodies (PLB) Grammatophyllum scriptum. Rancangan percobaan dalam penelitian ini rancangan acak lengkap dengan dua faktor, yaitu konsentrasi 2,4-D (0,5 mg/L dan 1,0 mg/L) dan konsentrasi NAA (0,5 mg/L dan 1,0 mg/L) dengan empat ulangan. Kualitas PLB diukur berdasarkan tunas dan panjang akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan PLB dari G. scriptum.
