    Abstract

    The classroom action research was conducted by means to increase students appreciation to word the local wisdom values with the accompanying impact of it’s was the increase of student achievement outcomes in history. The learning model was used the application of the cooperative group investigation by use “Sedekah Laut” media traditional. This research method use Classroom Action Research, by three cycles of action. The working procedures in the implementation of the actions carried out through six steps GI with the five stages of activity: 1) Appreciation (step 1 GI), (2) exploration (steps 2 and 3 GI), (3) elaboration (steps 4 and 5 GI); (4) confirmation (step 6 GI), and (5) cover. Five activities are conducted in three cycles. Data collection techniques used are: (1) observation, (2) documentation, (3) interviews, (4) test, and (5) questionnaire. Descriptive data analysis with quantitative and qualitative. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Cipari on X.IPS-3 class Academic Year 2013/2014. The results showed: (1) Planning application of cooperative study type of GI model by use “Sedekah Laut” media tradition. Start by preparing learning media in the form of a syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), a booklet of evaluation, assessment questionnaires attitude scale appreciation to word local wisdom values, teacher observation sheet as well as the teaching of history in the form of video media ‘Sedekah Laut” ritual tradition; (2) The application of cooperative study type of GI model in teaching history by use “Sedekah Laut” media traditional effectively improve learning achievement results from the historical average of 6.00 with 40.63% mastery learning achievement results presentation 75.00% in the first cycle, increasing to 7.08 with a passing grade 78.13% increase 83.27% achievement results presentation on the second cycle, and increased again to 7.88 average of 93.75% with less completeness presentation of learning outcomes 87.50%, (3) the application of cooperative study type of GI model by use “Sedekah Laut” media tradition of alms students' appreciation to word local wisdom values with students through questionnaires percentage appreciation of 84.37% in the first cycle, to 93.75% in the second cycle, increased to 96.88% in the third cycle. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dengan dampak pengiringnya yaitu peningkatan hasil prestasi belajar sejarah siswa. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah penerapan model kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media tradisi sedekah laut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan tiga siklus tindakan. Prosedur kerja dalam pelaksanaan tindakan dilakukan melalui enam langkah GI dengan lima tahap kegiatan yakni : 1) Apresiasi (langkah 1 GI); (2) eksplorasi (langkah 2 dan 3 GI); (3) elaborasi (langkah 4 dan 5 GI); (4) konfirmasi (langkah 6 GI); dan (5) penutup. Lima kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah : (1) observasi, (2) dokumentasi, (3) wawancara, (4) test, dan (5) angket. Analisis data dengan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Cipari pada kelas X.IPS-3 Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Perencanaan penerapan model kooperatif tipe GI dengan media tradisi sedekah laut dimulai dengan mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran yaitu berupa silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), lembar soal evaluasi, angket penilaian skala sikap apresiasi terhadap nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, lembar observasi guru serta media pembelajaran sejarah berupa video ritual tradisi sedekah laut; (2) Penerapan model kooperatif tipe GI dengan media tradisi sedekah laut efektif meningkatkan hasil prestasi belajar sejarah dari rata-rata 6,00 dengan ketuntasan belajar 40,63% presentasi hasil prestasi 75,00% pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 7,08 dengan ketuntasan belajar 78,13% presentasi hasil prestasi 83,27% pada siklus II, dan meningkat kembali menjadi rata-rata 7,88 dengn ketuntasan 93,75% presentasi hasil belajar 87,50%; (3) Penerapan model kooperatif tipe GI dengan media tradisi sedekah laut dapat meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dengan presentase apresiasi siswa melalui angket 84,37% pada siklus I, menjadi 93,75% pada siklus II, meningkat menjadi 96,88% pada siklus III. Kata Kunci : Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation, Tradisi sedekah Laut, Nilai- nilai Kearifan Lokal.
