    Abstract

    Abstrac : The purpose of this research was to improve the understanding of the concept a stone with implementation inquiry learning model.The form of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consist of activity such planning, action, obsevation, and reflection. Subject of this research were 36 students of grade V of SDN 01 Tohudan, amounting to 36 students and consists of 15 students are male and 21 students are female. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, tests, and documentation. The validity of the data used were triangulation of data and triangulasi methods. The analysis of data used is interactive analysis technique which consist of three components they are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The conclusions of this research was implementation inquiry learning model can improve undertanding the concept of the stone. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep batuan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Sumber data berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep batuan. Kata Kunci : Inkuiri, pemahaman konsep, batuan.
