    Keywords : Tellurite Glasses, Judd-Ofelt theory, Optical absorption. This paper contains report on glass fabrication and characterization in composition 55TeO2-2Bi2O3-(43-x)ZnO-xEr2O3 where (x=0.5; 1; 1.5; 2; 2.5; 3) with melt-quenching technique. Sample was heated in 9000 C in an hour. Casting was performed by pouring quickly hot melt into the mould 2650C then was cooled naturally.
