    Abstract

    Rosyida Rahma Wardhani. R1112034. The correlation between Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Leopold Palpation Practice on Students of Diploma III of Midwifery. Study Program of Diploma IV of Midwife Educators of Medical College of University of Sebelas Maret Surakarta. 2013. Background: Motivation can be considered as the over all driving force in the rise in students learning activity. The role of motivation in learning process needs to be understood by educators in order to arouse student learning motivation so can obtain better learning result. One of them is Leopold palpation practice learning result. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes of Leopold palpation practice on students of Diploma III of Midwifery. Research method: This study uses analytic observational method with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study is simple random sampling are 48 respondents. The research instrument used questionnaire and checklist. The data analysis used is Spearman correlation analysis. Result: The study results show that the learning motivation activities on students of Diploma III of Midwifery of Medical College of UNS mostly with medium category are 30 (62.5%). Leopold palpation practice on students of Study Program of Midwifery Diploma III of Medical College of UNS mostly with medium category is 30 (62.5%). Based on statistical calculation of Spearman test, it is obtained 0.403 with p-value significance of 0.000 (<0,05). Conclusion: The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is a correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes of Leopold palpation practice on students of Diploma III of Midwifery. Hubungan Motivasi Belajar Dengan Hasil belajar Praktik Palpasi Leopold Pada Mahasiswa DIII Kebidanan. Program Studi DIV Bidan Pendidik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. 2013. Latar Belakang: Pentingnya peranan motivasi dalam proses pembelajaran perlu dipahami pendidik agar membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga dapat memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik. Salah satunya hasil belajar praktik palpasi Leopold. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar praktik palpasi Leopold pada mahasiswa DIII Kebidanan. Metode penelitian: Penelitian observational analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampel menggunakan teknik sampel simple random sampling sebanyak 48 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan kuisioner dan checklist. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa kebidanan DIII FK UNS sebagian besar dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 30 (62,5%). Praktik palpasi Leopold pada mahasiswa di Program Studi DIII Kebidanan FK UNS sebagian besar dengan kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 30 (62,5%). Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik uji korelasi Spearman diperoleh sebesar 0,485 dengan nilai signifikansi p-value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Kesimpulan: ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar praktik palpasi Leopold pada mahasiswa DIII Kebidanan. Semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka semakin tinggi hasil belajar praktik palpasi Leopold. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Hasil Belajar, Praktik Palpasi Leopold
