    Abstract

    THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR'S WORK POSTURE BASED ON REBA METHOD AND MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM COMPLAINT IN COLD ROLLING MILL DIVISION OF PT. KRAKATAU STEEL (PERSERO) TBK. CILEGON BANTEN Akhmad Abul A'la Almaududi 1 , Tarwaka 2 , Yeremia Rante Ada' 2 Objective : Work place, work environment factors and man have a high potential hazards so that need a prevention effort to decrees accident and work related disease. The objective of this research is to know the relationship between operator control room work posture based on REBA method and musculoskeletal system complaint in cold rolling mill division of PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Cilegon Banten. Method : This research was an analytical observational research. The population of research was all control room's operator in cold rolling mill division consisting of 68 persons. The sample consisted of 27 respondents taken using purposive sampling. The instrument used in this research was REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) and Nordic Body Map questionnaire. The data was analyzed using Somer's D Test. Result : The result of Somer's D showed significant relationship between control room operator work posture and musculoskeletal system complaint with p value of 0,009 (p < 0,05) and coefficient of correlation (r) of 0,672 showing the close relationship between both of them. Conclusion : Based on research, it could be concluded that there was a close relationship the control room operator's work posture and musculoskeletal system complaint in cold rolling mill division of PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Cilegon Banten. For that reason, there should be working ergonomic training for the control room operator and engineering evaluation on the control room. Key Word : REBA, Musculoskeletal System Complaint, Nordic Body Map Tujuan: Tempat kerja, faktor lingkungan kerja dan manusia mengandung potensi bahaya yang tinggi sehingga diperlukan suatu upaya pencegahan agar tidak terjadi kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan postur kerja dengan keluhan sistem musculoskeletal pada operator control room sehingga dapat meminimalisir keluhan sistem musculoskeletal operator control room. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian observasional analitik. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh operator control room di Divisi Cold Rolling Mill sejumlah 68 orang. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 27 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah formulir REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) dan kuesioner Nordic Body Map. Data dianalisis dengan uji Somers’d. Hasil: Hasil uji Somer's D menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara postur kerja dengan keluhan sistem musculoskeletal dengan p value sebesar 0,009 (p < 0,05) dan koefisien kolerasi (r) sebesar 0,672 yang menunjukkan tingkat hubungan kuat diantara keduanya. Simpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara postur kerja operator control room dengan keluhan sistem musculoskeletal di divisi cold rolling mill PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Cilegon Banten. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan ergonomi dan evaluasi engineering terhadap control room.
