    infotainment is one of content in mass media content include in television. infotainment in content more shows entertainment to audience especially news of celebrities. if based on harold laswell, one of communication people, that one of function of media is entertainment. it is right. but if based on journalism perpective, infotainment as not include in part of news. its because infotainment ad publicated in television in indonesia now is more face issues which its not alwast right. however news in fact, not fiction in all issues. infotainment is showed not always use journalistic values or news values ad balance, fairness, cover both side, factual, nothing honour of people privacy, etc. its also not always follow other news values as significance, proximity, prominance, magnitude, human interst, etc. so in effect, infotainment information is not right and good as journalistic value. the paper try to analysis in background program names infotainment indonesia television, content of infotainment, background infotainment from public culture as connented with culture "ngrasani" up to analysis and conclution of infotainment from journalistic perspective
