    Abstract

    Abstract This research is conducted based on experimental laboratory with direct shear test to investigate the influence of ACBFS on shear strength for soil stabilization. The specimens are mixtures of clay and ACBFS in three water content variations: optimum, dry side and wet side of optimums. The addition of ACBFS are as follows: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% of total weight. The Shear Strength of soil mixtures at composition of 80% ACBFS tends to increase compared with natural shear strength. ACBFS relatively has no significant impact on the change of shear strength parameter of clay. The increase of shear strength caused by dominant physical properties of ACBFS itself is at ACBFS 70%-80%. Keywords: ACBFS, shear strength, water content
