    Abstract

    Ahstract: The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) The ertefttu which the competence of graduates of Technical Building Education Program (PTB) to the skills ofworkers on construction industry. (Z) Competence skills piB progro^ graduates needed by the construction industry. F) Eligibility to become a techniiian giaduates pTB construction industty' The method used in this study is descriptive exploratory and quatitatir" ,oir". Samples taken from the construction industry representative large, medium and small enterprtses located in the region of Surakarta with purposive samplW technique. Sources of data obtainedfrom informantinterviews / resource persons, documents and results of field observations. The analysis technique used ai.re inter-case analysis (cro.ss-site Analysis).In each case analysis process will be conducted using an interactive model. The conclusion indicate that: (1). Competence pTB enough skilled graduates as enerw construction services industry. Competence of graduates "itgiUt"-to become a contractor, technician consultanB, supervisors and consultants. (2) Competence skills-pTB program graduates needed by the construction industry almost all the parameters into the skills needed by the ,onit u"tio, industry with the addition of specialist expertise in otherfields.
