    Abstract

    The aims of this research were to know the relationship among biologicol learning dfficulties with affeclive competence ond cognitive compelence and e:ach contribution lo thal dfficulties loward student of SUUU 8 Surikarta. This research was carried out during academic year of 2004/2005. This was the descriptive quontitative research with ex post faclo. The lhreated studenl was sarnpled in amount of 40 students by simple iandom sampling. The data obtained was'then analized by muhivariate-linear regression analysis The resuhs showed rhat there was significant dffirence between biological learning dfficulties with cognitive comrytence and afective comrylence. The dominant contributor to the difrculties was lhe afleclive competence (52, 29%o). This reasearch alsofound that lhere was correlation between those lwo competences' Key words: Biological learning dificulties, afeclive competence, cognilive comrylence
