    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran Small Group Discussion jarang digunakan oleh institusi pendidikan kebidanan di kota Surakarta, padahal jika dikelola dengan baik diduga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan efektifitas model pembelajaran small group discussion dengan ceramah terhadap hasil belajar KB AKDR. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan rancangan penelitian non randomized pretest-postest control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh peserta didik semester IV AKBID Mitra Husada Karanganyar yang mengikuti pembelajaran KB AKDR berjumlah 93 peserta didik. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling/jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes objektif pilihan ganda yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelumnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik non parametrik dengan analisis uji 2 sampel independen Mann Whitney. Hasil analisis tes nilai asymp sig. sebesar 0,000 yang berarti Hα diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Small Group Discussion lebih efektif (p=0,000) dengan nilai rata-rata KB AKDR 60,62 daripada ceramah dengan nilai rata-rata KB AKDR 33,09. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Small Group Discussion, Ceramah, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT Small Group Discussion learning model was rarely used by midwifery education institutions in the city of Surakarta, but if managed properly could be expected to improve the learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of learning model small group discussion with a lecture on learning outcomes KB IUD. This study employed a quasi-experimental research design with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design The population of research was all students of fourth semester of AKBID Mitra Husada Karanganyar attending the KB IUD learning, consisting of 93 students. Sampling technique used total sampling. Technique of collecting data used was a multiple choice objective tests that have been previously tested for validity and reliability. Technique of analyzing data used was non-parametrical statistic technique with a 2-independent sample test using Mann Whitney test. The result of analysis showed asymp significance value of 0.000 meaning that Hα was supported and H0 was not supported. Learning outcomes used Small Group Discussion learning model more effective (p = 0.000) with an average value of 60.62 KB IUD than lecture with an average value of 33.09 KB IUD.
