    Abstract

    Abstract: THE IMPROVEMENT OF NUMERAL COUNTING ABILITY THROUGH NHT COOPERATIVE MODEL. The aim of this research is improving the ability of numeral counting using cooperative model (NHT). This research belongs to a classroom action research. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The sources data came from the fourth grade students, the fourth grade teacher, and the document. To collect the data it used observation, interview, test and documentation. To validity the data it used content validity. To analyze the data it used descriptive comparative. Inconclusion NHT model can improving the ability of numeral counting. Keyword: counting ability, NHT cooperative model Abstrak: PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHITUNG BILANGAN BULAT MELALUI MODEL KOOPERTAIF TIPE NHT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung bilangan bulat melalui model kooperatif (NHT). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sumber data berasal dari siswa kelas IVA, guru kelas IVA dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data digunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi. Penganalisaan data digunakan deskriptif komparatif. Simpulan bahwa model NHT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung bilangan bulat. Kata kunci: kemampuan berhitung, model kooperatif tipe NHT.
