    Abstract

    This research is a study with the urgency is to solve poverty trap that occurred in Central Java. The theme and purpose of the research is to create economic growth models which the result is in the modification of the model in Larantuka (being researched by the team UNS with the team from Universite La Rochelle France). Modification in question is the participation of farmers in marketing their products through auction markets. Models that have been made are stated in a paper and posters for the purposes of scientific publications with the team from Universite La Rochelle France, which contributed papers and poster session papers have been included in the Intersection of Sciences Agro Business in Giessen, Germany on 10-11 September 2009, Prices on Agriculture Auction of Central Java Province of Indonesia, Proceedings European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) Phd Workshop, Giessen, 2009. Matesih's village farmer group participation in the auction forward market Soropadan, the data obtained defaulted failed to pay and failed to hand over by the farmers in each transaction approximately 45%. Research while in this first year in 4 main problems that lead to failed hand-over and fail to pay : pricing problems, problems of economic behavior, market information problems, and policy support problems. One of the recommendations are integrated solutions for the agricultural industry : the provision of seeds, planting pattern setting, provision of fertilizer, and open market for the crop. Research results have been stated in a paper titled "The Insertation of Small-Scale Farmers into market mechanism, can it really improve the Indonesian Gurem Farmers' welfare? The perspective of the market price formation ". Abstract paper submitted to Agriculutural Economics Society 84th AES conference and Agriculutural Journal of Economics.
