The objectives of the research were to observe whether: (1) there was difference on students poetry appreciation ability taught by Quantum Learning and expository strategy; (2) there was difference on students poetry appreciation ability which have high achievement of motivation or low achievement of motivation; and (3) there was interaction between strategy and achievement of motivation to students poetry appreciation ability. The research used experiment method. The research population were eighth class students of Bae Region Junior National Highschool. The sample was taken by Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collecting technique for poetry appreciation ability variable was taken by test and achievement of motivation variable was taken by questionnaire. Data analysis technique used was two ways anava followed by further test of Scheffe, 2x2 factorial design. The conclusion from the research are : (1) there was difference on students poetry appreciation ability taught by Quantum Learning or expository strategy, i.e. students poetry appreciation ability taught by Quantum Learning strategy better than students poetry appreciation ability taught by expository strategy (F A>Ft = 9,635>3,97 on 0,05 significance level); (2) there was difference on students poetry appreciation ability that have high or low achievement of motivation, i.e. students poetry appreciation ability that have high achievement of motivation better than low achievement of motivation (F B>Ft = 12,958>3,97 on 0,05 significance level); (3)
