(A Case Study on Poriphera and Coelenterate Phylum Material in Grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali in 2009/2010). Thesis: Science Education Program, Postgraduate Program of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta 2011. The purposes of the research were to know: (1) the effect of Biology learning with Quantum Learning using computer and module media toward the student learning achievement in Poriphera and Coelenterate competency; (2) the effect of student learning style toward the student learning achievement in Poriphera and Coelenterate competency; (3) the effect of student’s memory toward the student learning achievement; (4) interaction between the use of computer and module media, and the student learning style toward the student learning achievement in Poriphera and Coelenterate competency; (5) interaction between the use of computer and module media, and the student memory toward the student learning achievement in Poriphera and Coelenterate competency; (6) interaction between the student learning style and the student memory toward the student learning achievement in Poriphera and Coelenterate competency; and (7) interaction between the use of computer and module media with the student learning style and the student memory toward the student learning achievement. This study used an experimental method with 2x2x2 factorial design. The population of research was all X graders of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. The sample of research was taken using cluster random sampling consisting of six classes divided into two groups. The first learning group used Quantum Learning with computer media, while the second one using Quantum Learning with modul media. The data was collected using test for student achievement and questionere for student learning style and student memory. The hypotheses were tester using three-way Anova and continued by Scheffe test. The result of research analysis showed that: (1) there was an effect of learning with Quantum Learning using computer and module media toward the student learning achievement, (2) there was no effect between the students having kinesthetic and visual learning style toward the student learning achievement, (3) there was an effect of high and low student memory toward student learning achievement, (4) there was no interaction between learning media (computer and module) and student learning style (kinesthetic and visual) toward the student learning achievement; (5) there was no interaction between the use of media and the student memory competency toward the student learning achievement; (6) there was no interaction between the student learning style and the student memory competency toward the student learning achievement; and (7) there was no interaction between the use of media, student learning style and student memory competency toward the student learning achievement.
