    commit to user ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF CHANNEL DISTRIBUTION AT BATIK DANAR HADI EXPORT DIVISION Gebi Rusdiwan F. 3207120 Distribution is the path used by companies to distribute products from producers to consumers. In order for the product can quickly get to the consumer with a good hand, it must use the right distribution channels. Export products are buying and selling activities are conducted with other countries, and using foreign currency in payment, and using a foreign language to communicate. Goals to be achieved in this research is to understand the distribution channels, evaluate the benefits and shortcomings of the distribution made by PT Batik Danar Hadi's export division, and know the level of efficiency and effectiveness of distribution channels used by PT Batik Danar Hadi export division as well as efforts to improve it. This research using descriptive analysis, which describes the real state of the distribution channels used by PT Batik Danar Hadi, and then a conclusion. While data collecting technique that used this research is by observation, interviews, library research, and view corporate documents.Based on the results of the study, the authors conclude that: 1. PT. Danar Hadi Batik Export Division uses indirect distribution channels. This distribution channel is a way of delivering products to consumers who do use outside assistance to help distribute its products. Institutions that help to distribute this product a wholesaler that can supply all over the country in large numbers either wholesalers or retailers. 2. The impact of distribution channels made by PT Danar Hadi Batik Export Division: a. Positive Impact 1) Stability of the company's growth rate . 2) The company can be more focused in terms of production and procurement 3) Companies can reduce transportation costs b. Negative Impact 1) Wholesaler can label and brand their own 2) The company is too dependent on buyer 3. Efforts that can be done to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in the distribution channel PT Batik Danar Hadi export division: a. Choosing a reliable forwarding . b. Firm determines the production deadlines, so the goods are delivered on time c. Companies can implement a minimum order of each motif and color. Based on the conclusions above, so we can put forward suggestions that could benefit the company if, among others, are as follows: 1. PT. Batik Danar Hadi should always maintain good relationships (relationship), with the parties involved in export activities, for implementation of the export can proceed smoothly. 2. For best product of PT. Batik Danar Hadi give the brand, especially in garment products, for products not using the batik shirt brand overseas, but using the brand of the company.
