The research used a quantitative research method with a correlational approach to verify the proposed hypotheses of the research. The population of the research was all of the 256 students in Grade X of Private Senior Secondary School of Muhammadiyah 1, Ponorogo regency, East Java province. The samples of the research were 100 students of the school. They were taken by using a stratified proporsional random sampling. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire for the variables of the learning resource utilization and the learning motivation, and documentation for the variable of the result of Geography learning. The data of the research were analyzed by using a product moment and multi regression technique of analysis. The proposed hypotheses of the research were analyzed by using normality test and linearity test. The results of the research are as follows: 1) There is positive a correlation between the learning resource utilization and the result of Geography learning of the students in Grade X of Private Senior Secondary School of Muhammadiyah 1, Ponorogo regency, East Java province, (Ŷ1 = 43,922 + 0,506X1, the significanche level of 9,73 %), meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified. 2) There is positive a correlation between the learning motivation and the result of Geography learning of the students in Grade X of Private Senior Secondary School of Muhammadiyah 1, Ponorogo regency, East Java province, (Ŷ2 = 27,529 + 0,396X2, the significanche level of 17,3 %), meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified. 3) There is positive a simultaneous correlation of the learning resource utilization and the learning motivation to the result of Geography learning of the students in Grade X of Private Senior Secondary perpustakaan.uns.ac.id digilib.uns.ac.id commit to user School of Muhammadiyah 1, Ponorogo regency, East Java province, (Ŷ = 17,1148 + 0,3545 X1 + 0,3416 X2, the significanche level of 21,81 %), meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified.
