    Abstract

    This research objective is to provide empirical evidence of the effect of balanced scorecard application toward managerial performance which based on sharia system. Population of this research is manager of Islamic hospital in Surakarta, however the sample is middle manager of Islamic hospital in Surakarta. The sampling method of this research instrument use validity, reliability, and classical assumptions before hypothesis test. The result is indicates balanced scorecard has positively influence the managerial performance. The limitation of this research is there is no standard in sharia management yet and the sample doesn’t use balanced scorecard effectively. Key words : balanced scorecard, managerial performance, Islamic hospital.
