    Abstract

    Abstract The purpose of this study is to evaluate of existing unsignalized Siyonoharjo intersection and its performance after traffic signal is implemented using MKJI 1997. This study also predict its next 10 year performances. The primary data are road geometric, traffic flow and composition, and secondary data are intersection site plan, population and traffic growth rate. Based on 6% traffic growth rate, in 2003 degree of saturation is 0.66 and drastically increase up to 1.18 in 2013. By applying traffic signal in existing geometric, the degree of saturation of 2 and 4 phase are 0.89 and 0.76 respectively, with time cycle are 106.2 s and 76.7 s. After widening the approach of intersection, the de- gree of saturation are 0.66 and 0.56, with time cycle are 42.3 s and 50 s.
