    Abstract

    Sri Handayani, 2009, The Relationship of Knowledge, Attitude, Interest, and Studying Motivation Toward the Achievement of KDM I of the First Semester in Akper Giri Satria Husada Wonogiri. Thesis: Program Studi Magister Kedokteran Keluarga, post graduated Program, Sebelas Maret University. Serious education problem in Indonesia is low quality of education. It caused the human resources defeats in Asian competition. The implication of low education quality is low human resources productivity, low competition capacity and low human resources quality. Students achievement in university is one of human resources standart in Indonesia and instrument to measures university’s achievement in implementing education system. There are two factors that influence studying individual achievement there are internal factors, including fisiology condition (less nutrient, tired, sleepy, and difficult to accept lesson) and psychology (interest, intelligence, talent, motivation, and cognitive ability), and eksternal factor, including environtment factor and instrumental factor. This research aimed to know the description of relationshop between knowledge, attitude, interest, and motivation toward the studying motivation. 12 This research belongs to correlative descriptive research with cross sectional approach. Research did conducted in Akper Giri Satria Husada Wonogiri on December 2008 until January 2009. Population of this research is first semester of Akper Giri Satria Husada Wonogiri. Samples collect by using simple random sampling. Processing data uses SPSS program version 15, data analysis uses double linier regression. The result shows that there is positive and significant relation between knowledge, attitude, interest, and motivation toward the student’s achievement with knowledge coefficient regression as 0,176, t value is 2,149 and p value is 0,034, attitude coefficient regression is 0,410, t value is 2,082 and p value is 0,040, interest coefficient regression is 0,270, t value is 2,438 and p value is 0,017, and motivation coefficient regression is 0.350, t value is 2,323 and p value is 0,023. The F account is as 5,771, the value of F table for α 5% is 2,48 and α 1 % is 3,56. The relative contribution of knowledge variable is 57,59 %, attitude variabel is14,4 %,interest variabel is 9,6 % and studying motivation variable is11,08 % while affective contribution of knowledge variable is 12,32 %, attitude variabel is 3,08 %, interest variabel is 2,05 % and studying motivation variable is2,37 %. It can be concluded that there is positive and significant relationship between knowledge, attitude, interest, and motivation toward studying achievement. Knowledge variable has relative contribution and belong the biggest affective contribution toward studying achievement. The lecturers should be know the factors influencing student’s activities bith internal factors and external factors so that the activities runs effectivelly.
