    Abstract

    Feed is the most important factor in ranch effort, because livestock productivity influenced 70% by environment and 30% by genetic, while feed reaching 60% from environmental factor. feed of Livestock ruminant consisted by consentrate and grass usage of consentrate feed especially commercial concentrate often have a problem, because its price which is expensive. So strived to look for the source of materials feed which cheap, a lot and still contain the nutrient able to be exploited by livestock. One of them is tofu waste, waste of agricultural prosessing industry. But that way, tofu waste still consist high water, it’s a barrier in use as livestock feed. So to increase a period of keeping and also upgrade the materials use fermentation. The objective of research was to investigate the effects of replacement concentrate nutrifeed by tofu waste fermentation on the dry and organic matter digestibility Of local male sheep. This research was conducted in research farm of Animal Husbandry Program of Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Maret University which located in Jatikuwung Village, Gondangrejo District of Karanganyar Regency on September 22 th 2008 until November 30 th 2008. This research used 12 lamb with average body weight 14,62 ± 0,63 kg, that divided into four treatments and each treatment ( P0, P1, P2, P3) consist of three replications and each replication using one male local lamb. The ration used king grass, nutrifeed commercial concentrate and waste tofu fermentation. The treatments are P0 = 60% king grass + 40% concentrate (100 % nutrifeed + 0 % WTF ); P1 = 60% king grass + 40% concentrate (87.5 % nutrifeed + 12.5 % WTF ); P2 = 60% king grass + 40% concentrate (75 % nutrifeed + 25 % WTF )and P3 = 60% king grass + 40% concentrate (62.5 % nutrifeed + 37.5 % WTF ) The parameters are were dry matter consumption, organic matter consumption, dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, nutritive value index dry matter and nutritive value index organic matter.. The data was analyze by variance analyze pursuant to Complete Random Device (RAL) Pattern. The average from the treatments for P0, P1, P2 And P3 are the dry matter consumption 936,34; 1072,31; 1076,39 and 1028,20 g/head/day, organic matter consumption 608,13; 748,34; 783,31 and 726,17 g/head/day, dry matter digestibility 74,58; 79,28; 78,79 and 78,40 % organic matter digestibility 74,10; 82,20; 81,39 and 79,44 %,. nutritive value index dry matter 665,65; 850,52; 848,48 dan 806,58 gram/head/day and nutritive value index organic matter 454,86; 615,63; 638,24 dan 578,78 g/head/day. The variance analysis indicated that the replacement consentrate by tofu waste fermentation till 37.5 percent from totalizing concentrate were significant (P<0,05) influence of dry matter consumption, organic matter consumption, dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, nutritive value index dry matter and nutritive value index organic matter. Conclusion of this research is utilization tofu waste fermentation as replacement concentrate nutrifeed in ration have increase an effect on the dry and organic matter digestibility of local rams. key words : local rams, tofu waste fermentation, the dry and organic matter digestibility
