    Abstract

    Objective: Analyzing the relationship between emotional intelligent and learning achievement in the subject of Midwifery Rearing I of the second semester students in Midwifery Academy of Mitra Husada Karanganyar, analyzing the relationship between learning readiness and learning achievement in the subject of Midwifery Rearing I of the second semester students in Midwifery Academy of Mitra Husada Karanganyar, analyzing the relationship between emotional intelligent and learning readiness through learning achievement in the subject of Midwifery Rearing I of the second semester students in Midwifery Academy of Mitra Husada Karanganyar. Research Type: This research applies analytical observation technique and cross sectional approach. The sampling used is purposive sampling, determine sample size using Isaac and Michael formula which is 89 respondents of 119 second semester students academic year 2009/2010 in Midwifery Academy of Mitra Husada Karanganyar. The techniques of analysis data are single correlation, multiple correlation and multiple regressions with the level of significance α = 0.05. Result of the Study: There is relationship between emotional intelligent and learning achievement which is 0.457, there is relationship between learning readiness and learning achievement which is 0.360, while the multiplication correlation analysis shows that emotional intelligent and learning readiness simultaneously influence learning achievement which is 0.533. Conclusion: 1) There is positive significance relationship between emotional intelligent and learning achievement, 2) There is positive significance relationship between learning readiness and learning achievement, 3) There is positive significance relationship between emotional intelligent and learning readiness through learning achievement.
