    Abstract

    Andi Tyas Surya Nugraha, D0305014. 2010, FORABI (BOYOLALI PEOPLE'S FORUM) PARTICIPATION IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING BOYOLALI PUBLIC POLICY IN THE ERA OF REGIONAL AUTONOMY. THESIS: UNIVERSITY DEGREE PROGRAM SEBELAS MARET UNIVERSITY. This study aimed to describe about public participation in policy-making level of the Regency / Municipality in Boyolali. The sample used was the People's Forum Boyolali. The research is qualitative research, as well as the main method of case studies, by taking the location in the city of Boyolali. The data in this study are primary and secondary data, primary data obtained directly from the results of in-depth interview to the informant, ie Forabi Working Committee, Member of the Forum, Boyolali Legislative, Executive Boyolali, and Society Boyolali ever come Forabi participation activities. Sampling was done by purposive sampling in the field. Data collection techniques are not participating observation and interviews in depth. Analysis of data using an interactive model. The validity of the data was performed using data triangulation (source). After the analysis found that there are two paths to be taken to express Forabi Participating in the district level, namely through the formal channels provided by the Government Boyolali and non-formal education path that is initiated Forabi own. For Weber that determines social action is the individual's relationship with the behavior of others with "a meaningful subjective", whereas in the theory of action developed by Parson, "action" implies an activity, creativity and process appreciation of the individual. Forabi social action in the form of participation for community voices to be heard Boyolali Government, so that in making a more pro-people policy. Initiative to pull through participation in "influencing" public policy is the result of netting Boyolali community votes, with the intention that an appropriate policy goal, especially in public. Forabi participation efforts into results, and there are also not accepted the Government.
