    Abstract

    This research aimed to know the effectiveness of NAA and micro elements (Zn and B) and also to obtain an appropriate concentration to increase the formation of fruit and lower levels of cacao cherelle wilt. This research was conducted in Sajen, Village Bawen, District Ungaran, Semarang regency located at a height of 500 m above sea level started in August 2009 until March 2010. This study used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD). Treatment consists of seven combinations (500 ppm NAA, 1.000 ppm NAA, 1.500 ppm Zn + 3.000 ppm B, 500 ppm NAA + (1.500 ppm Zn + 3.000 ppm B), 1.000ppm NAA + (1.500 ppm Zn + 3.000 ppm B), control (without spraying) and spraying water). Each treatment was repeated seven times. Data was analyzed with F test at 5% level and Dunnet test at 5% level. Results showed that sprayed NAA and micro elements (Zn and B) with a sprayed technique on the fruit can decrease the number of cherelle wilt and the number of healthy cherelle. Sprayed NAA and micro elements (Zn and B) with a sprayed technique on the fruit can not increase the number of mature fruit, number of seeds per fruit, dry seed weight per fruit, and dry weight of 100 cocoa seeds. 500 ppm of NAA can decrease cherelle wilt, 500 ppm NAA + (1500 ppm Zn + 3000 ppm B) can maintain the number of healthy cherelle. Sprayed of 500 ppm NAA + (1500 ppm Zn + 3000 ppm B) gives the results of the number of mature fruit, number of seeds per fruit, dry seed weight per fruit, and dry weight of 100 seeds are more than the other treatments. Sprayed NAA and micro elements (Zn and B) with a sprayed technique on the fruit produce the average percentage of cherelle wilt (25%) at least compared to other treatments.
