    Abstract

    Heri Martono, Sari 540907007, THE EFECT OF COMPETENCY AND MOTIVATION OF CLINICAL INSTRUCTORES TOWARD JOB EFFORT IN THE GUIDANCE OF CLINICAL PLACEMENT AT SRAGEN DISTRICT GENERAL HOSPITAL (RSUD KABUPATEN SRAGEN). Thesis: Post Graduate Program, Sebelas Maret University. Optimally of job effort of clinical instructor will contribute to outcome the qualified of nursing graduates. However, now there are many numbers of nursing graduates who are not qualified as professional. This condition can be caused by the low of the clinical instructors’ job effort. The purpose of this study is (1) to explore the effect of competency of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement (2) to explore the effect of motivation of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement (3) to explore the effect of competency and motivation of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement at Sragen District General Hospital (RSUD Kabupaten Sragen). This study utilized the non experimental analyzed description with the cross sectional approach. The subject of this the study is nurses who became as clinical instructor at Sragen District General Hospital (RSUD Kabupaten Sragen). The analyzing of data in this study utilized the regression test. The result of this study shows that there is (1) a positive effect of competency of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement with regression coefficient value of 1.164 and t-test value 8.024. Moreover there is (2) a positive effect of motivation of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement with regression coefficient value of 0.266 and t-test value 4.060. Futhermore, there is (3) a positive effect of competency and motivation of clinical instructors toward job effort in the guidance of clinical placement at Sragen District General Hospital (RSUD Kabupaten Sragen) with R2 value = 0.818 and statistic F test = 105.275 > critically level (3.20).
