    Abstract

    The objective of research is to find out whether or not the perceived organizational support mediate the effect between procedural justice, organizational rewards, and supervisor support on employee’s affective commitment. This research was conducted in the Surakarta Post Office of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero). In addition to using interview and literary study methods, this research was also conducted using survey method in which the data was obtained by distributing questionnaire to 120 respondents using proportional random sampling. For analyzing the data, the writer employed validity test with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), all variables result of which are valid. The reliability test was done using Cronbach Alpha and the result is that all variable has good reliability, as well as using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for testing the hypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows: 1) H1 stating that Perceived Organizational Support has a positive effect on the affective commitment is proved. 2) H2 stating that Procedural Justice has a positive effect on the affective commitment mediated by the perceived organizational support is proved.3) H3 stating that Organizational rewards have a positive effect on the affective commitment mediated by the perceived organizational support is proved. And 4) H4 statingthat Supervisor Support has a positive effect on the affective commitment mediated by the perceived organizational support is proved. Based on the result of research, the recommendations given are as follows: The management should maintain and increase its attention to the employees, that is, by providing the good organizational rewards, better supervisor support, and by creating an organizational culture that can improve the employees’ proud and love of company. It is recommended for other researcher who will come to PT. Post Indonesia (Persero Surakarta) 57100 to add other variable that has not been studied.
