    Abstract

    SUMMARY Prita Palupi. H 0206009. “Influence of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers Balance on The Efficiency of K Uptake and Rice Yield (Oryza sativa L.) in Palur Rice Field”. This research is under guidance of Ir. Sri Hartati, MP; Mujiyo, SP., MP; and Hery Widijanto, SP., MP. Soil Science Department, Agriculture Faculty, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. The research had been done at Palur rice field Sukoharjo on July – December 2009. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of various balance of inorganic (A) and organic (O) fertilizer to efficiency of K uptake and know its effect to rice yield (Oryza sativa L.). This research is a field experiment using the Completely Randomize Block Design (CRBD) factorial with 2 factors. The first factor was dosis of inorganic fertilizer (A), consist of 3 treatment : A0 (non fertilizer), A1 (Urea 150 kg/ha + ZA 50 kg/ha + SP-36 75 kg/ha + KCl 50 kg/ha), A2 (Urea 300 kg/ha + ZA 100 kg/ha + SP-36 150 kg/ha + KCl 100 kg/ha). The second factor was dosis organic fertilizer (O), consist of 3 treatment : O0 (0 ton/ha), O1 (1 ton/ha), O2 (2 ton/ha). Variable measured are organic matter, Cation Exchangable Cappacity, K availability, uptake of K, dry grain harvest weight, dry grain milled weight, and 1000 grain weight. Data analysis used F Test on 1% and 5% or Kruskal Wallis, then tested with DMR test on 5% or Mood Median, and Correlation test to know its closely correlation on each variable. The result of the research showed that the highest efficiency of K uptake was on treatment A1O1 (Urea 150 kg/ha + ZA 50 kg/ha + SP-36 75 kg/ha + KCl 50 kg/ha and 1 ton/ha organic fertilizer) on 16.15%. The highest weight of harvest grain is 18 kg/26 m2 (6,69 ton/ Ha), the highest weight of dry milled grain is 17,4 kg/26m2 (6,63 ton/ Ha) and the highest weight of 1000 grain is 27,9 gram were on treatment 2 ton/ha organic fertilizer and urea 300kg/ha+ZA 100kg/ha+SP-36 150 kg/ha+KCl 100 kg/ha (A2O2).
